THE NEXT LINE IS THE LENGTH OF THE DEVICE MEASURED FROM THE

BACK OF THE HEEL CUP TO A LINE RUNNING ACROSS THE FOREFOOT

FROM THE 1ST METATARSAL JOINT TO THE 5TH METATARSAL JOINT.

 

NEXT IS THE FOREFOOT WIDTH MEASUREMENT WHICH IS TAKEN

FROM THE LINE THAT WAS MADE ACROSS THE METATARSAL JOINTS.

 

NEXT IS THE REARFOOT WIDTH. THIS MEASUREMENT IS TAKEN INSIDE

THE CAST ACROSS THE CENTRE POINT OF THE HEEL CUP FROM MEDIAL

TO LATERAL.

 

THE FINAL NUMBER IS THE HIGH POINT OF THE ARCH MEASURED IN THE

CORRECTED POSITION ON A LINE DRAWN FROM THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE

1ST METATARSAL JOINT TO THE DISTAL EDGE OF THE HEEL CUP ON THE

MEDIAL SIDE.
