Schaffer Plate

Schaffer Plate has a medial flange to support the foot and is used for older children or adolescents (the Schaffer Plate does not control excessive calcaneal eversion and should not be used in severe structural collapse of the pediatric foot).

Patient Indications

High pitched midtarsal joint axis without a high degree of calcaneal eversion.
