Whitman Roberts

Whitman Roberts is a combination of the Roberts and Whitman orthotics. This orthotic controls or maintains a rectus heel and stimulates supination. a high medial flange is used to limit medial rotation of the talus, and a high lateral flange controls calcaneal eversion. The Whitman Roberts device is useful for children over nine years of age.

Patient Indications

Severe calcaneal eversion with high pitched midtarsal joint axis.
